Q: How do you install a sliding shower bar?

A: 1. Begin by measuring the space where you want to install the sliding shower bar. Make sure that the measurements are accurate and that there is enough room for the bar to slide freely.

2. Mark the wall with a pencil where you will be installing the bar. Use a level to make sure that your marks are even and straight.

3. Drill pilot holes into the wall at each of your marks using a masonry bit if you are drilling into tile or concrete, or a wood bit if you are drilling into drywall or wood.

4. Insert plastic anchors into each of the pilot holes and tap them in place with a hammer until they are flush with the wall surface.

5. Place the sliding shower bar onto the anchors and secure it in place with screws provided with your kit, making sure that it is level and straight before tightening all of the screws completely.

6. Test out your new sliding shower bar to make sure it is securely installed and slides smoothly along its track before using it regularly.
